NEW MUSICAL BASED ON THE COTTINGLEY FAIRIES IS CURRENTLY IN PRODUCTION BY BRITISH YOUTH THEATRE. THERE MAY BE A MINI CONCERT AT COTTINGLEY TOWN HALL IN FEBRUARY 2026 FEATURING SONGS FROM THE SHOW – WATCH THIS SPACE FOR DEVELOPMENTS. THE MUSICAL IS TO BE PREMIERED IN BIRMINGHAM IN APRIL 2026.

Cottingley F.C. 1934 – Winners of the Bradford Nignog League Senior Cup Final. They beat Low Moor 2-1 at Park Avenue, Bradford in a replay after the first match was drawn 2-2.

The Heritage Centre. Entry free (donation appreciated). Lots of exhibits, documents, photographs etc relating to the history of the village – come and find out about your family you might even see photographs of them from times past. The next talk is on Wednesday 10th December 2025 to be given by Denise Adlard entitled Tea is not just a drink. Venue Cottingley Town Hall, 3, Main Street, Cottingley, BD16 1SR. YOUR COTTINGLEY ANCESTORS – If you would like more information about your ancestors who lived in Cottingley, please contact the archivist (see contact information below) for further details. A transcript of the 1921 Census for Cottingley, including New Brighton and Stoney Ridge, can be viewed at the Heritage Centre.
